Webb Sanctuary

South on Main St. Turn right at Chestnut St.,

The Webb Sanctuary’s 20 acres are on the edge of Clifton. the Snctuary features a small stream flowing by a meadow, native orchids, several amphibian species, and a good variety of birds. A self-guided trail winds through the property.

The property is open dawn to dusk, and environmental education programs are held in the Clifton area.

Directions: From the Beltway, take I-66 west about 10 miles to Fairfax County Pkwy (Rt. 7100), exit at Springfield/south. Stay in right lane of parkway, get off at the next exit, Lee Hwy (Rt. 29). At top of exit ramp, turn right on Lee Hwy., go to third traffic light, and turn left on Clifton Rd., into the town of Clifton, where it becomes Main St. Turn right at Chestnut St., and drive slowly to sanctuary at the end of the road.
